Mr. Mat Baxter, VP Supply Chain - Mat Baxter joined Samuel Lawrence in January of 2001 as the Director of Process Improvement. Mat was promoted to VP Supply Chain in February 2005 and is responsible for managing import purchasing, forecasting, customer service, logistics, and warehouse/distribution operations. During his tenure with the company, Mat has led continuous improvement projects across every part of the organization, focusing most recently on the company's conversion from a manufacturing company to a marketing company. Prior to joining Samuel Lawrence, Mat spent 5 years in process improvement roles at Boeing and Bayla, an internet start-up. During his 10 years of process improvement experience, Mat has worked and trained with the leading Lean-Sigma consultants in Japan and the United States. Mat earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance & Marketing from Pacific Lutheran University.
