Mr. George Revington, Chief Executive Officer - George Revington joined SLF in 2000 as the President and CEO, and he has responsibility for all aspects of the company's operations. George has held various positions throughout his 34-year career in the furniture industry, which have ranged from operations to sales and marketing to senior management roles in both large and entrepreneurial companies. † He spent the majority of his career, 15 years, with Universal Furniture, which pioneered the integration of Asian Manufacturing with U.S. Marketing. During his tenure, Universal grew from $100 million to $450 million and expanded its product category from casual dining to formal dining rooms, bedrooms, occasional and complete collections, including a licensed collection with Alexander Julian called "Home Colours." George held the following positions with Universal Furniture: President/CEO world wide with responsibility for 25 operations in 13 countries: President of Universal USA; Executive VP Sales & Marketing; Sr. VP U.S. Operations; VP Sales, VP National Accounts, VP Bedroom Division. George holds a Bachelors Degree from Amherst College and an MBA in finance from Indiana University. George also attended Duke Fuqua School's Advanced Business Management Program.
